Steps from the Gulf, guests expect nothing less than spotless. Staybridge Suites Gulf Shores is looking for an Executive Housekeeper who leads from the front — someone who can walk into any room, any day, and know instantly whether it's guest-ready.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, coach, and lead a housekeeping and laundry team that performs Walk daily inspections across guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house — and hold the line on brand and A&R quality standards
- Own PAR levels, supply inventory, and ordering to hit budget every month
- Build schedules that flex with occupancy without burning out your team
- Track what matters: QA scores, Guest Satisfaction Index (GSI), labor/productivity, and turnaround times
- Sync daily with Front Desk and Maintenance to keep rooms turning fast
- Run monthly one-on-ones and team meetings that actually move the needle
- Be the standard-bearer for A&R's culture on the floor, every shift
Requirements
- 2+ years of housekeeping leadership in a hotel setting — required
- High school diploma or equivalent — required; hospitality coursework a plus
- A leader's communication style: clear, direct, and fair
- Comfort with hotel PMS and housekeeping management systems
- Availability for weekends and holidays — that's when we need you most
- A level head when the property's full and the pressure's on
- Stamina for a physical, on-your-feet role; able to lift up to 25 lbs.
Bonus points
- You've run housekeeping AND laundry, not just one
- You know your way around a brand QA program
- You've owned inventory and PAR levels before
- You've worked select-service or full-service hotels
