About the Role
Leads the housekeeping department to deliver exceptional cleanliness and service standards, while managing departmental budgets, training and developing staff, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and brand standards.
Collaborates across departments to enhance the overall guest experience and maintain a positive, efficient workplace culture.

Responsibilities
- Lead the housekeeping department to maintain high cleanliness and service standards
- Manage departmental budgets, training, and staff development
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and brand standards
- Collaborate across departments to enhance guest experience and workplace culture
- Improve guest satisfaction scores, operational efficiency, and cost controls
- Train, develop, and retain a large, diverse workforce
- Perform inspections, quality control, and ensure compliance with service standards
- Handle conflict resolution, employee relations, and performance management
- Apply knowledge of emergency procedures, risk management, and crisis response
Requirements
- College degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred); equivalent progressive hotel operations experience will be considered
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a hotel leadership role of at least 15 employees
- Demonstrated success in training, developing, and retaining a large, diverse workforce
- Proven track record of improving guest satisfaction scores, operational efficiency, and cost controls
- Strong work ethic and integrity
- Ability to effectively communicate with guests, employees, and management
- Ability to perform under pressure and with deadlines
- Problem-solving skills using common sense and hotel policy
- Advanced computer literacy (property management systems, scheduling software, inventory control, Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- California State Driver’s License (required); new residents must obtain one within 10 days of establishing residency
- Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and infection control (preferred)
- Proven ability to lead large, diverse teams and manage change effectively
- In-depth knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning standards, and laundry procedures
- Strong financial judgment, including budgeting, labor forecasting, and cost control
- Skilled in staff training, development, and retention while fostering accountability and engagement
Pay
$70,304.00 - $73,732.50 per year
