Responsibilities
- Manage player accounts and comps based on recorded play, earned points, comp availability and patron profitability.
- Provide superior level of guest service.
- Identify, solicit and register high-end players.
- Aid premium customers with reservations and acquisition of amenities and work closely with casino operations to ensure high limit players are recognized and acknowledged.
- Act as a guest liaison, handle issues & resolve situations to ensure smooth operations.
- Demonstrate a high degree of integrity / responsibility in handling Horseshoe Indianapolis assets.
- Aid in the maintenance of players as required, including on and off property VIP special event coverage.
- Be available to meet and greet premium customers while they are on property.
- Maintain a high level of visibility throughout the facility during the majority of the shift.
- Maintain an appropriate working knowledge of Indiana State Gaming Regulations and established Horseshoe Indianapolis policies and procedures.
- Be knowledgeable of property, product, promotions, and events.
- Must be able and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, team building, and problem solving skills required.
- Must be able to resolve stressful situations.
- Must be able to make sound complimentary decisions based on tracked customer play.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work under pressure, handle situations in a timely manner and work independently.
- Analytical skills and customer service orientation required.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED required.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Marketing preferred.
- Host experience or two (2) years in a supervisory capacity in gaming machines or table games required; or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
- Ability and willingness to learn new systems as implemented by the company are required.
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and through written communications is necessary.
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older and be able to obtain an Indiana Gaming License.
