Overview

This role involves executing go-to-market strategies, managing key client relationships, and acquiring new customers across the industry. The ideal candidate will have deep experience and understanding of professional services sales, particularly within legal or global mobility industries, and be highly skilled at transforming insights into actionable plans, with a strong track record in new customer acquisition and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Growth Initiatives
    Partner with firm leadership to identify and execute strategic growth opportunities.
    Analyze market trends and industry developments to inform BD strategy.

  • Client Relationship Management
    Collaborate with attorneys to nurture existing client relationships and identify upsell/cross-sell potential.
    Develop client-specific pitches, proposals, and presentations.

  • Thought Leadership & Branding
    Support creation of compelling thought leadership, client alerts, and event programming.
    Work alongside marketing to elevate the firm’s brand and market visibility.

  • Analytics & Reporting
    Track BD activity, measure effectiveness of campaigns, and report key performance indicators.
    Maintain CRM systems and ensure accurate pipeline data.

  • Event Strategy Execution
    Oversee planning and execution of firm-sponsored events, industry conferences, and webinars.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field (JD a plus but not required).
  • 5+ years exp. with proven track record in business development within legal, immigration, global mobility, or professional services.
  • Understanding of the industry’s technology landscape, business challenges, & opportunities.
  • Strong consultative sales approach with experience in solution selling.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Confident and comfortable with ownership of the end-to-end sales cycle.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in CRM and analytics tools.
