About the role
This role will lead operational priorities where safety, quality, compliance, and execution discipline are central to success. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a life sciences environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the integrated evidence generation plan in collaboration with stakeholders
- Coordinate real-world evidence and post-marketing studies alongside various teams
- Ensure evidence plans align with regulatory and payer engagement requirements
- Own governance and operations of the investigator-sponsored trial program
- Develop and manage external research partnerships efficiently
- Oversee the Medical Information function alongside the MI lead
- Manage expanded access programs in compliance with regulations
- Drive AI strategy in Medical Affairs, partnering with critical departments
- Foster global medical planning and alignment across affiliates
- Coach and develop a high-performing team, represent the company at external forums
Qualifications
- MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent advanced scientific or clinical degree
- 12+ years of experience in Medical Affairs, including leadership roles in biopharmaceutical industry and/or academic medicine
- Hands-on leadership experience in Medical Information, investigator-sponsored/sponsored research, evidence generation planning, and expanded access programs
- Preferred experience with AI, digital or advanced analytics initiatives in Medical Affairs
- Experience leading global or multi-region medical planning and alignment
- Demonstrated experience in rare disease preferred
- Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in relevant fields
- Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $279,000 – $330,000 annually
