Executive Director, Program and Study Management, Oncology

This role will drive complex programs from planning through execution with a focus on structure, accountability, and measurable delivery. You will work across business leaders, delivery teams, and strategic partners to align priorities, manage dependencies, and keep initiatives on track. Responsibilities

• Translate scientific and therapeutic area objectives into executable operational strategies
• Accountable for operational planning and delivery of clinical programs within set timeframes and quality standards
• Ensure proactive cross-functional collaboration for trial delivery strategies
• Inspire excellence and drive high-quality trial delivery through continuous improvement
• Resolve complex operational issues impacting program and study delivery
• Build and sustain strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Champion modernization and implementation of innovative processes in clinical trial operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific-related discipline; advanced degree preferred
• 12+ years of relevant experience in clinical development programs (pharma/biotech/CRO)
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional strategic initiatives
• Expertise in designated Therapeutic Area with operational understanding
• Experience implementing digital solutions (AI, automation) to modernize operations
• Strong knowledge of GCP/ICH and global regulatory expectations
• Exceptional executive presence with matrix influence across global R&D teams

Pay

$255,800 – $402,700 annually
