Executive Director of Foundation

Make a Lasting Impact.Lakeview Village is seeking an experienced and relationship-driven Executive Director to lead the Lakeview Village Foundation.This is an opportunity for a strategic fundraising professional to shape the future of philanthropy within a thriving senior living community. The Executive Director will work closely with the CEO, Foundation Board Chair, Board of Trustees, residents, families, donors, and community partners to expand philanthropic support and help bring meaningful projects and opportunities to life.What You'll DoDevelop and execute the Foundation’s strategic vision, fundraising goals, budget, and priorities in partnership with the CEO and Foundation Board.Build and steward meaningful, long-term relationships with major donors, prospective donors, residents, families, businesses, professional advisors, and community partners.Lead major gift, planned giving, charitable gift annuity, grant, and fundraising campaign initiatives.Develop relationships with estate planning attorneys, wealth advisors, and other professional partners to expand planned and legacy giving opportunities.Identify and pursue new philanthropic opportunities and funding sources.Collaborate with Lakeview Village leadership to identify initiatives where philanthropic support can make a meaningful difference.Serve as a visible ambassador for the Foundation throughout the community.Help cultivate future Foundation Board members and strengthen the Foundation’s relationships with community leaders and organizations.Ensure strong donor stewardship, ethical fundraising practices, and responsible use of contributed funds.What We're Looking ForWe’re looking for someone who is more than a fundraiser — we’re looking for a connector, strategist, and passionate advocate for philanthropy.The ideal candidate will have:At least five years of successful experience in fundraising, development, nonprofit leadership, or a related supervisory role.Demonstrated success with major gifts, planned giving, and fundraising campaigns.Knowledge of a variety of charitable giving vehicles and philanthropic strategies.Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.Strategic thinking combined with the ability to roll up your sleeves and get things done.An entrepreneurial and creative approach to identifying opportunities and building partnerships.Strong organizational skills and sound judgment.A genuine appreciation for older adults and the ability to build authentic relationships with residents and families.A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.Why Lakeview Village?At Lakeview Village, philanthropy is about people and possibilities.
