Responsibilities
- Build and mentor the global Pharmacovigilance Operations, Quality & Compliance team
- Establish functional objectives and operating model priorities aligned with corporate goals
- Lead global pharmacovigilance operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Oversee operational performance, vendor execution, and continuous improvement to maintain inspection-readiness
- Ensure maintenance and alignment of pharmacovigilance policies and procedures with global regulatory requirements and GVP best practices
- Lead management of the Pharmacovigilance System Master File, ensuring compliance preparedness
- Oversee vendor governance, monitoring the performance and compliance of external partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with an advanced degree in a scientific field; healthcare professional degree preferred
- 15+ years of global full life-cycle DSPV experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry
- Direct experience in pharmacovigilance operations and vendor/alliance management, including GVP-related compliance
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop global teams with a focus on performance management
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders and collaborating cross-functionally across various departments
