Executive Director, Frontier AI

Responsibilities

• Prioritize portfolios and recommend investments in diverse AI technologies
• Govern frontier AI activities ensuring compliance and risk management
• Drive external partnership outcomes in research and innovation
• Provide executive-level insights into frontier AI performance
• Cultivate top AI talent with a focus on leadership and technical expertise
• Ensure organizational alignment across multiple functions
• Define and lead a comprehensive frontier AI strategy
• Translate emerging AI research into practical, high-value capabilities

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 6 years of frontier AI experience, or a Master’s degree and 10 years of frontier AI experience, or a Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of frontier AI experience
• 6 years of managerial experience managing people or leading projects
• Proven track record in frontier AI areas such as model architectures and quantum AI/ML
