Executive Director, Claims

Responsibilities

• Directs activities of the US mortality markets claims staff for efficient service delivery
• Manages claim practices to resolve unfavorable trends in underwriting and claims handling
• Provides guidance on audits for client company claims administration
• Collaborates with various departments to address issues and improve customer satisfaction
• Led supervisory duties, including hiring, training, and mentoring department staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences or equivalent work experience in insurance/reinsurance
• Graduate work, MBA, FLMI, ALHC or other relevant professional designation preferred
• 10+ Years in insurance/reinsurance including 5+ years direct life and/or health claim experience
• 5+ Years management experience
• Intermediate Microsoft Office and SQL skills

Pay

• $126,710 – $188,840 annually
