Responsibilities
- Leading and managing daily kitchen functions, staff, and food production
- Ensuring high-quality food presentation, consistency, and taste
- Maintaining health, safety, and hygiene standards in accordance with HACCP protocols
- Managing inventory, food cost controls, and minimizing waste and loss
- Supervising and training culinary staff to meet departmental goals
- Upholding kitchen cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and food storage standards
- Supporting the mission and values of the organization through excellent service delivery
Requirements
- High School Diploma and Culinary Arts training required
- Culinary Arts degree or ACF certification strongly preferred
- Serv Safe Certification required
- Minimum of 3 years of related culinary and supervisory experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or similar setting
- HACCP training preferred
- Customer service orientation and a collaborative leadership style
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
