Position Summary
The Executive Chauffeur provides safe, reliable, and discreet transportation for the Chief Executive Officer and other company executives throughout Miami and South Florida. The position calls for a chauffeur who is calm under pressure, highly trustworthy, and exceptionally knowledgeable of the region's roads, neighborhoods, traffic patterns, and efficient routing, with the judgment to deliver a seamless and comfortable experience under changing conditions. This is a full-time position based in Coconut Grove, offering competitive compensation, benefits, and long-term stability. A company vehicle is provided.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Safely and professionally operate company vehicles to transport the CEO, executives, employees, guests, and visitors to designated locations throughout Miami and South Florida.
- Plan routes in advance and monitor traffic, road conditions, construction, and events; proactively adjust routing to protect arrival times and communicating any delay or change in routing promptly.
- Coordinate closely with the CEO's team on daily schedules, transportation needs, and itinerary changes.
- Maintain complete discretion and confidentiality while providing a calm, respectful presence that affords passengers privacy while remaining attentive and available.
- Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle and with loading and unloading luggage or other items as needed.
- Maintain assigned vehicles to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, comfort, and readiness.
- Ensure vehicles are properly fueled and perform routine vehicle and safety checks, reporting maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain a smooth, defensive driving style with a strong emphasis on passenger safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate travel logs, including arrival and departure times, mileage, and other required trip information.
- Exercise sound judgment and professionalism in all interactions, including with executive team members, family members, guests, and security personnel.
- Work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours based on the CEO's schedule.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience And Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of four years of professional driving experience, preferably in a corporate, executive, or private-service environment.
- Prior experience as an executive chauffeur or professional driver serving executives, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, or private principals strongly preferred.
- Valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience working alongside executive protection or security teams is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Extensive knowledge of Miami and South Florida roads, neighborhoods, and traffic patterns across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties, including airports, major venues, and efficient alternate routes.
- Exceptional discretion, professionalism, and emotional intelligence.
- Outstanding situational awareness, with the ability to remain calm and composed in changing or high-pressure conditions.
- Consistent punctuality and reliability, supported by strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively around executive teams, family members, guests, and security personnel.
- Proficiency with GPS and navigation technology.
- Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
- Ability to remain alert and attentive during extended periods of driving.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
