About the role
The individual will work in support of the Cancer Center Director to manage programmatic activity. The individual will also support faculty recruitment activities, including processing travel expenses, arranging travel accommodations, and communication with faculty candidates.
Responsibilities
- Manages programs associated with assigned faculty, which include the development, administration, planning, and coordination of all programmatic activities.
- Captures and coordinates activities of various departments or personnel within Hillman Cancer Center.
- Provides services directly to customers.
- Establishes uniform correspondence procedures and style practices.
- Oversees the creation of relevant work instructions to support the HCC research administration team and other administrative materials as requested.
- Reviews clerical and personnel records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Prepares activity reports for guidance of management.
- Performs Other Related Duties As Required.
- Performs all administrative and operational functions of a program.
- Captures and coordinates all program events and personnel and provides services directly to customers.
- Develops and implements program policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required with 5 years of relevant job experience required, 7 years of relevant job experience preferred.
- Project Management Certification preferred.
Qualifications
- Must demonstrate the ability to write and speak in public settings as well as ability to communicate with a variety of audiences.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are vital.
- Strong use of SharePoint and Teams.
- Must demonstrate ability to multi-task, prioritize to meet deadlines, attention to details and accuracy as well as time management skills and follow through.
