About the role

We are partnering with a respected higher education organization in Pittsburgh to identify an experienced Executive Assistant to support executive leadership and governance operations. This is a fully onsite opportunity for an administrative professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, exercises sound judgment, and can confidently manage high-level responsibilities.

Schedule & Compensation

Full-time, Monday-Friday

8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Paid lunch

Fully onsite

Contract-to-hire

Pay: $30-$33/hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative support to senior leadership
  • Manage complex calendars, scheduling, and meeting coordination
  • Arrange travel and oversee logistics for executive events and meetings
  • Draft, edit, and proofread professional correspondence, reports, presentations, and memos
  • Prepare meeting materials, presentations, and executive briefing documents
  • Support board and committee activities, including meeting preparation and follow-up
  • Serve as a liaison between executive leadership and internal/external stakeholders
  • Coordinate special projects, events, and organizational initiatives
  • Maintain confidential records and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Assist with office operations, reporting, and administrative processes as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of executive-level administrative support experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong calendar management, scheduling, and coordination experience
  • Experience supporting senior executives, c-suite leaders, or boards preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and exercise sound judgment
  • Experience in higher education or a complex organizational environment is a plus
