About The Role
Rocket Lab is an end-to-end space company delivering responsive launch services, complete spacecraft design and manufacturing, payloads, satellite components, and more – all with the goal of opening access to space. The Executive Assistant role is based at Rocket Lab's headquarters in Long Beach, California. This role supports the C-suite executive leadership with deliverables required for internal leadership, board of directors, and investors. Key responsibilities include complex calendar management, expense management, meeting preparation, and supporting strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted support for the C-suite and executive leadership, ensuring seamless daily operations and supporting strategic initiatives
- Act as a liaison between the C-suite corporate officer(s), executive team, Board of Directors, investors, and key external stakeholders, representing Rocket Lab at the highest levels
- Manage executive calendars and schedules
- Plan travel itineraries and make travel arrangements both domestically and internationally, including reservations for events as needed
- Organize and execute logistics for meetings, conferences, and off-site events, including playing a key role in preparing for Board meetings, investor presentations, and critical business and executive events
- Timely reconcile and prepare expense reports
- Document and distribute meeting minutes and action items
- Greet guests and assist with special projects relating to guest/visitors
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- 5+ years of administrative experience
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Copilot, etc.)
- Outstanding writing and verbal communications skills
- Experience in a fast-paced, corporate environment supporting C-level executives
