Job Responsibilities
- Building Relationships
- Taking inquiry calls from all potential students
- Encouraging qualified prospects to schedule an appointment for an interview
- Returning web inquiries and calls promptly
- Making outbound phone calls to potential students
- Initiating unsolicited leads and generating new business
- Following up on all inquiries that fail to schedule or show for an interview
- Following up interviews that did not progress in the enrollment process
- Resolving any issues or addressing concerns with dropped/cancelled students
- Mentoring and Guidance
- Providing basic information and routine advice
- Serving as a liaison between student and campus
- Mentoring and advising students to help them identify their unique skills and interests
- Addressing any easily resolved inquiries, questions, concerns or issues
- Administrative
- Accurately accounting for all inquiries and the admissions activity associated with all inquiries
- Completing daily activity reports
- Ensuring that all pre-start paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Keeping all required reports current and accurate
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- One (1) year internal hire: as a Senior Admissions Representative required
- Two (2) years external hire: minimum of customer service, telemarketing, or sales required
- Demonstrated ability to fulfill Company Key Behaviors
- Excellent presentation skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook
