About the role

The RTX Productivity & Collaboration teams are looking for an experienced Exchange Automation Developer to provide immediate support for critical Exchange projects, reporting, dashboarding, and metrics using the Microsoft Power Platform. You will create banners, pop-ups, and Outlook add-ins to support requests across business units. This position is remote, but the successful candidate must currently reside in Puerto Rico and may be expected to travel to the Santa Isabel site as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Write new PowerShell scripts and port existing scripts into Azure functions
  • Provide technical guidance on migration of Exchange solutions
  • Assess existing processes and manual tasks, then create new automation scripts to improve efficiency
  • Perform and create queries using Exchange O365 PowerShell, MS Graph API, and scripting
  • Review the M365 environment, analyze existing PowerShell scripts, make recommendations for enhancements, and update scripts
  • Debug PowerShell scripting issues, create test plans, participate in test reviews, and resolve moderate defects

This position will reference written work instructions (available in English only) for daily job activities.

Requirements

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
  • 3+ years as an Exchange Automation Developer/Engineer with Azure/Entra
  • Hands-on experience creating PowerShell scripts from scratch and migrating existing scripts to new environments
  • Experience creating Outlook add-ins, pop-ups, and banners
  • Working experience with PowerShell, JavaScript, and .Net
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (automation of metrics and reporting from O365)
  • Experience navigating Microsoft Graph APIs, ExO modules, EWS API, SPO/PnP modules, and CSOM

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating within a GCC High environment or government/regulated environment
  • Knowledge of other Microsoft tools such as Power BI and Power Automate
