Remote position, Monday–Friday 8 am–5 pm with some flexibility for global calls. Assignment duration is 1 year with potential for extension and conversion to full-time employment.

About the role

We're looking for someone who works at the intersection of design and engineering to shape how our digital experiences are built. In this role you’ll own significant aspects of our customer-facing platforms and raise the bar for execution. This is not a handoff role; we’re looking for someone who cares deeply about the gap between what gets designed and what ships, and can close it. You'll work as a peer to designers, engineers, and content teams, translating experience vision into polished interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design and build high-quality experiences with a systems approach.
• Contribute to and evolve the design system: developing reusable components and documentation.
• Translate experience specifications, content, and creative direction into polished UI and working code.
• Work with Figma or emerging AI design tooling to design, spec, and prototype.
• Integrate and manage content through Sitecore (headless CMS), supporting real-world publishing needs.
• Participate in design critiques.
• Partner with engineers on implementation.

Requirements

• 5+ years hybrid design/frontend experience working on B2C products.
• Working within brand guidelines and scalable outcomes.
• Consumer-grade web experience.
• Proficient with Figma, creating and scaling design systems.
• Experience with emerging AI design tooling and workflows.
• Motion design & animation.
• Strong visual & interaction sensibility.
• Data viz design.
• Engineering skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React (or modern frontend framework).
• Familiarity with headless CMS platforms.
• D3.js, Recharts, or similar (data viz).
• Component-based architecture.
• WCAG accessibility standards.
• Design tokens & design system tooling.
• Storybook or similar component documentation.
• High school diploma or GED.

Nice to have

• Experience with front-end frameworks.
• Experience with CMS.
• Experience in commercial real estate, fintech, or other data-dense B2B product environments.

Interview Process

• Portfolio Presentation (45 minutes)
  • Prepare a 20-minute presentation about a work example from your portfolio that you are most proud of. Tell the “story” of this project, including details about your role, the team, and duration.
  • Walk through working files to show how your work evolved throughout the project.
  • 10 minutes for Q&A with UX and Engineering team members.
  • Send or bring raw assets or a presentation, preferably showing deliverables across different stages of a project. Be prepared to talk through your process.
• Behavioral Interview (45 minutes)
  • Discuss how you like to work, past challenges, and successes working on teams.
  • Have one or two real-world situations in mind that you can speak to.
