About the role
The Exceptional Student Education Paraprofessional will provide support to students with disabilities in grades 3.
Responsibilities
- Supports students with disabilities in the classroom setting
- Assists in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Participates in team meetings to discuss student progress and needs
- Provides additional academic and social support as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
Qualifications
- Experience working with students with disabilities is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs
