About the role
Aging in Place is dedicated to providing high-quality care to seniors in their homes. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver who can help with personal hygiene, medication management, mobility, meal preparation, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal hygiene assistance
- Help clients take prescribed medication
- Assist with ambulation and mobility
- Prepare and serve meals
- Assist with physical therapy exercises
- Complete client's shopping
- Perform cognition exercises
- Perform housekeeping duties
- Report any unusual incidents
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- Offer activities that are essential for daily living
Qualifications
- Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Compassionate and supportive
- Prior experience in healthcare or in-home care
- Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience as a Caregiver, CNA, or HHA, or completion of a CNA Program
- Effective verbal and written communicator
- Take pride in providing high-quality care
- Reliable, dependable, punctual
