Excavator Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Operate trackhoe and excavators to load 40-ton haul trucks, dig ponds, and maintain grade for earthwork projects.
• Auxiliary tasks include assisting in grading and moving materials, ensuring precise excavation and earthwork as per project specifications.
• Maintain the safe operation and proper maintenance of excavators and other equipment.
• Collaborate with other crew members to complete projects on time and according to safety standards.
• Comply with all company safety protocols and ensure a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in site development, specifically operating excavators, dozers, skid steers, tractors, and front-end loaders.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting and working in varying weather conditions.
• Safety-oriented, adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with supervisors and team members.
• Valid driver’s license for reliable transportation to and from job sites.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical examination.
