About the role

The Environmental Services Worker Lead provides work leadership to hourly employees in Aramark Facility Services areas of responsibility during events and performs hands-on work.

Responsibilities

• Assists management and supervisors at the beginning and end of shifts with sign-in, supplies, and equipment sign-out/sign-in.
• Assists shift operations in preparing and delivering supplies to meet employees' needs.
• Performs overall assessments of public restrooms and on-call rooms as needed.
• Adheres to all departmental sanitation procedures.
• Reports all employee issues, including safety, injuries, and disciplinary matters.
• Supervises staff assignments to ensure efficient and high-quality cleaning services.
• Formulates action plans to correct inefficiencies and quality discrepancies.
• Assists in employee training, coaching, and motivation.
• Maintains accurate record-keeping for quality control systems.
• Adheres to all established safety systems and training programs to provide a safe working environment.
• Complies with OSHA regulations and other local, state, and federal government requirements.
• Maintains compliance with Aramark’s standards of operation and client contracts.
• Maintains records and reports required to comply with Aramark, government, and accrediting agency standards.
• Job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice to meet commitments.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in environmental services.
• Ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing).
• Ability to apply elementary math functions.
• Ability to work well under time constraints.
• Ability to follow detailed but straightforward written or oral instructions.
• Basic knowledge of infection control procedures and universal precautions.
• Ability to work independently after appropriate training and instruction.
• Maintain a friendly and efficient service attitude toward customers, co-workers, and clients.
