EVS Technician Evenings

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Environmental Services Director and Supervisor, as an EVS Technician you will maintain assigned patient and non-patient areas in a clean and sanitary condition.

You will perform specialized cleaning tasks which involve operating heavy duty equipment and using special cleaning equipment such as low and high-speed buffers, carpet extractors, vacuums, floor scrubbers, etc.

You will use a variety of cleaning devices and solutions in performance of job responsibilities.

You will perform assigned project work.

You will support the distribution and pickup of biohazard barrels, distribution of clean linen, pickup of soiled linen and the pickup of garbage as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience in an acute health care setting, preferred.
