About the Role
The Environmental Services Technician maintains environmental and infection control standards within established policies and procedures. This role involves cleaning and maintaining areas in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition within the hospital and adjacent buildings, which may require traveling between facilities.
Responsibilities
- Respond to and initiate communication by phone, handheld radios, and pagers.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of hospital and adjacent buildings.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and personal protective equipment usage.
- Work independently and after hours as needed.
- Stand and walk continuously during shifts.
- Act as an advocate for patient health, safety, and rights.
Requirements
- No prior experience required.
- Able to work alone and after hours frequently.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Observes safety standards and uses appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Displays knowledge of safety protocols and materials safety data sheets.
Skills
- Able to work independently and after hours.

Pay
Salary commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Day shift, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 40 hours per week.
