EVS Technician

About the role

The work of the environmental services department (EVS) is vital to creating an infection-free environment in hospitals. This position plays a critical role in maintaining cleanliness and providing a welcoming atmosphere for patients and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors and restrooms in patient rooms and throughout the facility
• Ensure a clean and inviting environment
• Operate autonomously on a variety of tasks
• Maintain a variable-paced, low-pressure work environment
• Use all necessary equipment for cleaning and facility maintenance

Qualifications

• No prior experience required, but preference given to environmental cleaning experience in a healthcare setting
• Able to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions
