Responsibilities
- Aids in maintaining a high-quality standard of housekeeping.
- Performs cleaning functions in assigned areas while following assigned schedules and specific methods.
- Provides a sanitary, orderly, and safe patient care environment.
- Aids in prevention of cross contamination, controlling bacteria, odor, and sustaining acceptable aseptic conditions.
- Assists with furniture moves, recycling, curtain replacement, delivery of supplies, and the removal of trash and biohazard waste.
Linen Care
- Managing, sorting, cleaning, and distributing clean linens throughout the hospital.
- Collecting solid linens.
- Inventory management by keeping records of linen levels.
Qualifications
- Previous cleaning experience in healthcare, school, or hospitality setting.
- Experience operating floor equipment, sweepers, and other EVS equipment.
Competencies
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Basic knowledge of computer programs for documentation purposes.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Capable of managing challenging or crisis situations.
- Excellent customer service skills with patients, staff, and visitors.
- Familiarity with basic EVS equipment and cleaning protocols.
Pay
Entry USD $17.00/Hr. Max USD $26.35/Hr.
