About the role
EVS Supervisors are responsible for overseeing the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs within their facility. They ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, conduct regular safety inspections, and provide training to employees on EHS best practices.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and enforce EHS policies and procedures
- Conduct routine safety inspections and hazard assessments
- Train employees on EHS topics and emergency response protocols
- Coordinate with external agencies and regulatory bodies to maintain compliance
- Document findings from inspections and corrective actions taken
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in EHS or related field
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and other relevant regulations
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Experience with EHS software and tools
