Responsibilities

• Maintains friendly, efficient, and positive customer service toward customers, clients, and co-workers.
• Adapts to customer needs and maintains assigned areas in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner, following preventative maintenance procedures.
• Inspects and determines appropriate cleaning techniques based on orientation guidelines.
• Demonstrates safe and efficient use of housekeeping equipment and solutions.
• May disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies using germicides and sterilizing equipment.
• Follows universal precautions when disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials.
• Keeps cart stocked with equipment and cleaning supplies; ensures chemicals are labeled and equipment is in working condition.
• Promotes effective interpersonal relationships and maintains professional conduct.
• Assists in improving department productivity and efficiency.
• Commits to professional growth and competence through training.
• Job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice to meet commitments.

Requirements

• Past cleaning experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, senior management, and support staff.
• Ability to respond effectively to changing demands.

Physical Demands

• May require lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing.
• May require wearing uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
