EVS Porter Floor and Carpet Specialist-Graveyard-Silver Legacy

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, extracting, and spot cleaning carpets throughout the property.
• Stripping, top scrubbing, damp mopping, dry mopping, and buffing of all wood, tile, and concrete floors throughout the property.
• Extracting all chairs and stools as necessary.
• Thoroughly cleaning machinery after assignments are completed.
• Reporting all equipment malfunctions to the Executive Housekeeper.
• Performing all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand written English to read caution signs, safety notices, chemicals, and Supervisor’s instructions.
• Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and guests.
• Possession of knowledge of use, cleaning, and breakdown of equipment.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Additional Requirements

• Mobility to include bending, reaching, prolonged standing and walking, accessing and lifting items from floor level to six feet high.
• Normal sense of smell, touch, sound, and vision range.
• Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity.
• Work area is subject to variable temperatures.
• May be subject to smoking environment and moderate noise.

• Need excellent interpersonal skills.

Performance Requirements

• Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
