About the role
The EVS Lead Tech is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the Environmental Services team within the facility. They ensure that all cleaning procedures are carried out according to established protocols and standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the Environmental Services team
- Ensure adherence to cleaning protocols and standards
- Train and mentor new employees
- Coordinate with other departments to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Manage inventory and supplies for the department
- Assist in planning and implementing training programs for staff
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Services or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a similar setting
- Proven ability to manage a team effectively
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Experience with cleaning equipment and chemicals
