Essential Job Functions
- Captures EVS supplies
- Sets tasks and projects to ensure casino cleanliness
- Maintains assigned areas
- Completes assigned tasks by supervisor
- Cleans and sweeps floors
- Cleans and maintains slot machines and stands
- Cleans walls, stalls, shelving, telephones, brass rails, doors, glass, mirrors, and surfaces
- Cleans and maintains restrooms
- Cleans and refills ashtrays and ash urns
- Restocks supply areas (paper products and chemicals)
- Performs proper and trained cleaning procedures for bloodborne pathogens
- Cleans and maintains assigned areas
- Mops floors
- Operates vacuum cleaners or floor cleaning equipment
- Maintains flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Works overtime when required
- Follows EGE policy
- Participates in mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions
Physical, Mental & Environmental Demands
- Lifts 50 lbs or more
- Responds to visual and aural cues
- Works around crowded areas
- Stoops, bends, reaches, pulls around casino & restroom areas
- Tolerates cleaning chemicals without allergic reactions
- Bends, crouches, kneels, twists, lifts, stoops, reaches
- Works in areas containing secondhand smoke, dust, loud noises, and bright lights
Qualifications
- Prior custodial or housekeeping experience preferred
- At least 21 years old
- Well-groomed appearance
