EVS - Inpatient Unit - Full-Time

About the role

As an Environmental Services (EVS) attendant, you will play an important behind-the-scenes role in patient care. Your work helps keep our surgical center clean, safe, and welcoming for patients, physicians, and staff every day.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of operating rooms
• Clean and sanitize all areas of the facility, including operating rooms, patient rooms, and common areas
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility
• Ensure proper disposal of medical waste
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 6+ months of prior cleaning or custodial experience in a healthcare facility is preferred
• A High School Diploma or GED is preferred

Qualifications

• Passing physical and drug screen
• Background check
• Medicare sanction check
