EVS Floor Tech

Job Summary

As an Environmental Services Associate Floor Tech, you will be responsible for the general appearance of floor and carpeted surfaces in various areas such as corridors, patient rooms, public areas, offices, treatment rooms, and any other areas deemed necessary by the Supervisor. Your duties include performing the major cleaning and refinishing of floors in assigned areas, following established schedules and using prescribed methods. Additionally, you will dust mop and damp/wet mop as scheduled, prepare chemicals, supplies, and equipment for assigned areas, deliver and remove Bio-Medical boxes, exchange and deliver recycling containers, clean equipment and ES closet at shift end, and apply proper infection control practices and isolation techniques.

Qualifications

• Read, speak, and understand the English Language
• Prior Environmental Service type cleaning experience preferred
