EVS Floor Attendant - Casino Public Space

Essential Functions

• Create an atmosphere that induces guests to choose Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana for gaming entertainment.
• Actively build and retain guest relations and serve as a mentor to team members to provide superior guest service.
• Review schedule, check equipment and supplies, and prepare for operations upon starting the shift.
• Wipe down all machinery on a shift-by-shift basis.
• Inspect and clean all restrooms.
• Pick up and dispose of paper and other rubbish left by patrons throughout the pavilion.
• Secure all equipment and machinery and complete required paperwork upon ending the shift.
• Perform all other duties as assigned and adhere to all Indiana Gaming Regulations and Departmental Standard Operating Procedures.

Non-Essential Job Functions

• Attend seminars when needed.

Education And / Or Experience Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Additional Requirements

• Must obtain and maintain all licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Indiana Gaming Commission.
• Must successfully pass background check.
• Must successfully pass drug screening.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts.

Knowledge

• Safe use of hazardous materials.
• Basic hand and power tools and testing equipment.
• Excellent guest service skills and communication skills.
• Janitorial duties.
• Ability to be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.

Communication

• Communicate effectively with all levels of employees and guests.
• Review and comprehend all necessary documentation.

Physical Demands

• Routine handling of potentially hazardous cleaning chemicals and wastes.
• Requires strict adherence to supervisor's safety instructions and compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
• Routine use of powered cleaning equipment.
