Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking candidates for the EVS Director position at Luther Village, located in Arlington Heights, IL.
About the role
The Environmental Services (EVS) Director oversees the development and execution of all facility solutions to ensure health and safety standards are met. Leads facility account operations to meet objectives and client expectations, and is responsible for servicing and maintaining a physical location or site to client specifications.
Responsibilities
- Plans, controls, and directs all cleaning, sanitizing, and waste removal functions within a healthcare facility to meet operating and financial goals, client objectives, and customer needs.
- Leadership: Own and be accountable for operational management and financial performance of the unit. Model key leadership behaviors and ensure safety, quality, and service excellence. Coach employees, recognize performance, and develop team members.
- Plan and lead team management meetings. Ensure safety and sanitation standards in all operations.
- Client Relationship: Establish and maintain effective client and customer rapport. Identify client needs, communicate operational progress, and deliver excellent customer service. Support new business and retention activities. Develop programs to meet client and customer demands.
- Financial Performance: Build revenue and manage budget, including cost controls for labor, supply, and inventory. Complete and maintain financial statements. Deliver client and company financial targets. Adopt Aramark processes and systems. Understand performance metrics and educate teams on improving margins.
- Productivity: Implement labor and total quality management requirements. Create value through efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management. Ensure consistent application of Aramark’s operating standards, focusing on sustainability and labor productivity.

Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in healthcare environmental services.
- Up to 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
- Model key leadership behaviors and ensure safety, quality, and service excellence.
Pay
The salaried rate for this position is $70,000.00 to $80,000.00.
