About the role

Perform a variety of cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the healthcare facility to ensure compliance with infection control standards and regulatory requirements. This position plays a critical role in promoting a healthy and hygienic environment conducive to patient healing and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Follow written and verbal instructions to complete cleaning tasks.
• Perform manual tasks such as pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Engage with patients, visitors, and staff in a customer service capacity.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior hospital environmental services experience preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods each shift.
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
