EVS Attendant

Responsibilities

• Maintains casino floor, stairs, mirrors, glass, and assigned areas for quality and cleanliness.
• Serves assigned areas daily, including vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, ash/trash urns, elevators, dusting, polishing, and sweeping.
• Mops, sweeps, and cleans restrooms, including sinks and mirrors.
• Maintains bathrooms to ensure cleanliness and orderliness.
• Vacuums gaming tables and shampoos carpeting.
• Maintains equipment and supplies as instructed by Supervisor.
• Reports maintenance needs and emergency repairs to Supervisor.
• Completes special assignments for Supervisor as requested.

Requirements

• Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, from floor to waist, waist to shoulder.
• General tolerance for common cleaning products.
• Personal Protective Equipment provided when required.
• Ability to clean blood and bodily fluids when necessary, with provided Personal Protective Equipment.
• Work standing, walking, climbing stairs continuously throughout an 8 to 10-hour work shift while performing stooping, stretching, squatting, lifting, bending, reaching, and twisting motions.
• Physical ability to frequently crouch, push/pull, squat, and work above the shoulders with both arms.
• Physical ability to use both hands for continuous grasping.
• Physical ability to push, pull, and lift various furniture items such as end tables, chairs, ottomans, lamps, and tables.
• Physical ability to work on ladders up to 12 feet in height.
• Physical ability to tolerate any required personal protective equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, safety goggles, and other protective equipment as deemed appropriate on a continuous basis.
• Able to safely operate motorized equipment.
• Attention to detail and must have visual capabilities needed to inspect work upon completion to avoid leaving deficient work.
• Able to maintain regular, predictable attendance according to schedule.
• Able to work in crowded environments with high noise levels containing cigarette smoke and other odors.

• Effective communication in English, both verbal and written, in a professional manner.
• Neat and professional appearance.
• Flexibility to work various shifts.
• Ability to lift and carry approximately 40 pounds.
• Visual abilities needed to safely operate motorized equipment.
• Attention to detail and must have visual capabilities needed to inspect work upon completion to avoid leaving deficient work.
• Able to maintain regular, predictable attendance according to schedule.

Pay

$16.25 per hour
