EVS ASSISTANT SHIFT MANAGER

Essential Functions

• C conduct frequent inspections of all public areas and the Casino in order to maintain a high standard of cleanliness; and complete inspection forms and reports as required.
• A assist the leadership team in administrative functions up to and including disciplinary actions, team member counseling, training, cross training and development of new supervisors.
• A assist in the completion of team member evaluations as outlined in Company policy.
• R report facility problems and required preventive maintenance.
• S schedule the cleaning of public and casino areas and assign duties to ensure timely completion.
• S schedule team members to ensure all sections and areas are adequately covered.
• O assist in the training Environmental Services team members in OSHA standards and regulations; document and maintain the appropriate records.
• O take inventory of supplies and ensure necessary items are ordered.
• O ensure all equipment is working properly.
• O prepare necessary work orders and ensure equipment is repaired and returned in a timely manner.

• M maintain a working knowledge of basic office software and be adaptable to new technology.

Education and Experience

• H high school diploma or equivalent required.
• H two (2) Years Environmental Services Supervisory Experience preferred.

Required Certification/License

• M valid Michigan Driver’s license.
