EVS ASSISTANT

About the role

Responsible for cleaning all assigned patient rooms and areas of the hospital. Uses proper cleaning techniques and procedures including use of personal protective equipment. Heavy contact with patients and the general public – all ages. Maintains courteous, polite, and helpful manner to patients and visitors. Assists with moving furniture and equipment. Ensures proper storage of supplies and chemicals. May assist in other areas of housekeeping as necessary.

Requirements

• One year experience in hospitality services, customer service or general labor.
• General knowledge of cleaning and customer service skills.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in environmental services in a medical or hospital setting preferred.
