EVS Ambulatory Manager
Xanitos is seeking a 1st Shift EVS Ambulatory Manager at Kaiser Permanente Kensington Medical Center in Kensington, MD. This role prepares the incumbent to assume operational duties of the EVS Ambulatory department through hands-on training and managerial experience under the direction of an experienced Area Ambulatory Manager.

Responsibilities
- Participate in staff selection process, including interviewing candidates as needed
- Schedule days off, holidays, and vacations, ensuring account needs are met in accordance with hours and position control
- Assign personnel to established work areas or project duties
- Conduct quality assurance checks and manage materials inventory as well as general use of equipment
- Ensure EVS and cleaning staff receives proper orientation, initial training, and ongoing education
- Provide individual guidance and motivation to staff to enable each to perform to their fullest potential
- Discipline associates when necessary, according to progressive disciplinary guidelines
- Prepare associate disciplinary and variance reports, conduct follow-up investigations, and report findings to the Area Manager
- Prepare disciplinary action notices and conduct follow-up as required
- Conduct disciplinary meetings with associates with guidance from the Area Manager
- Maintain an environment that is sanitary, attractive, and orderly
- Demonstrate and promote Legion’s culture, values, and management philosophy
- Demonstrate quality leadership in meeting performance plans
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to all client locations
- Special project work as requested

- Bilingual (Spanish) required
- High School diploma required; college degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- One to three years of supervisory experience in a service-related field with high customer/client contact
- Flexibility to work some differing shifts
- Proficient in the use of Windows-based office software

Pay
The expected salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 depending on circumstances including an applicant's skills, qualifications, degrees, certifications, prior job experience, training, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if applicable to the position).
