EVS Aide Evenings

About the role

Performs routine manual tasks to clean and care for an assigned area, including the linen room and/or waste handling; cleaning and care related to public assembly areas, patient care areas, therapy areas, halls and foyers. Uses products, equipment and protective gear to clean and disinfect patient rooms, offices, rest rooms, and other public places as needed and requested. Removes trash, dirty linen from rooms and sharps containers from respective locations in and around the hospital. Follows all standard procedures in the safe disposal of infectious and hazardous waste materials.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience preferred
• Previous experience related to customer service preferred
• Communication skills with the ability to speak and understand written and/or oral English
• Ability to work and cooperate with other departments, as necessary, to carry out goals of department and hospital
