About the role

The EVP of Operations serves as the COO's operating deputy, running the company's operating system day-to-day and owning it end-to-end when the COO is out. This role provides real operating authority and is designed for the operator who has outgrown their current seat.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the company's day-to-day operating cadence, including planning, reviews, metrics, and follow-through, and keep the business moving without waiting to be asked.
  • Step in for the COO across operations when they are out, carrying decisions and momentum end to end so nothing stalls.
  • Serve as the connective tissue across departments, making sure commitments made in one place are delivered everywhere they touch.
  • Drive execution through leaders by holding department leaders accountable to their commitments, chasing clarity, naming blockers directly, and creating the productive friction that gets decisions made.
  • Turn half-defined problems into structured plans with clear owners and timelines.
  • Drive leverage through the leadership team rather than doing the work yourself, multiplying the output of the people around you.
  • Build and improve the systems, workflows, and automation the company runs on, using AI as a primary lever.
  • Bring decision-ready analysis and straight answers to the COO and the executive team, with blockers named and options framed.
  • Decide what matters when everything is urgent and keep the organization focused on the few things that actually move the business.

Qualifications

  • A proven senior operator — whether a Director or Senior Director of Operations or Business Operations, a Chief of Staff, or a Deputy COO — with real decision authority and a track record of owning outcomes rather than coordinating other people's work.
  • Demonstrated experience scaling something in a fast-moving, growing environment, building structure where little existed.
  • A self-starter who ramps fast, asks sharp questions, finds their own answers, and starts delivering without a training program or hand-holding.
  • Thrives in ambiguity, energized by half-defined problems and comfortable operating on a complex business before it feels fully mapped.
  • Pushes people and holds senior leaders accountable, willing to create friction to get clarity and decisions.
  • A direct, structured, decision-ready communicator who names blockers and cuts the fluff.
  • Genuinely systems-minded, with active, working fluency in AI and automation as operating leverage.
  • Strong experience with enough depth for real judgment and enough runway to grow meaningfully into this seat.

Preferred Experience

  • Scaling operations in a high-growth, multi-entity, or PE-backed environment where you built the structure without a ready-made playbook.
  • Healthcare SaaS, RPM, CCM, or regulated-operations exposure — teachable and not a hard filter.
  • Chief of Staff or VP Operations background with real decision authority rather than pure coordination.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base pay: $195,000 – $225,000 annually.
  • Additional Compensation: Performance-Based Bonus, eligible for an annual bonus based on company and individual performance.
  • Benefits: Include Unlimited PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, and supplemental insurance options, 401(k) Plan with 3.5% Company Match, Company-provided equipment.
