Everblades Pro Shop Staff

About the role

Part-time pro shop staff member responsible for maintaining operations and assisting customers at the Everblades Pro Shop as well as at merchandise stands during Florida Everblades games and other Hertz Arena events. This position assists in setting the example and ensuring the highest level of customer experience and hockey/figure skate repairs. Reports to the Everblades Pro Shop Manager.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledgeably fit and sell various types of hockey and figure skating equipment
• Sharpen skates and perform other skate/equipment repairs as requested by customers
• Handle cash transactions, including greeting and serving guests at registers and accepting payments (cash, credit/debit cards)
• Sell merchandise in the Hertz Arena concourse during hockey games and other events
• Clean and restock the store as necessary

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Able to take direction well and learn quickly
• Able to multi-task and be self-motivated
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs

Qualifications

Prior experience with POS systems, skate sharpening, and hockey/figure repairs is a plus.
