About the role

The position patrols an assigned area and directs vehicle and pedestrian foot traffic at a specific intersection or specified locations. This position also deploys traffic equipment such as signs, cones, barricades, and other equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assess the need for traffic direction and control.
• Assisting in the deployment of equipment such as signs, cones, barricades, and other traffic control devices as needed.
• Providing direction for vehicle and pedestrian traffic using verbal communication and hand signals as appropriate.
• Maintaining a high level of professionalism with customers and providing customer service that exceeds their expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience in traffic control or related field preferred.
