Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, greeting customers and answering questions about our menu and offerings
  • Safely drive our van to events venues
  • Help the Events Manager to prepare for events, including prepping products, printing menus, and packing the van.
  • Operate point-of-sale system and handle cash/card transactions
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure food safety and cleanliness

  • Product Knowledge: Be well-versed in our menu offerings, ingredients, and preparation methods. This knowledge empowers you to confidently answer customer questions and make recommendations.
  • Effective Communication: Actively listen to customers, understand their preferences, and tailor your service accordingly. Clear and friendly communication is key to building rapport.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Address customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally, seeking solutions that leave a positive impression.
  • Attention to Detail: Pay close attention to the presentation of our products and the cleanliness of our store. A well-maintained environment enhances the overall customer experience.
  • Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with the Events Manager and any teammates to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow, contributing to a positive and enjoyable atmosphere for both customers and staff.

Skills

  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality
  • Coolness under pressure
  • Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of fast-paced food service experience required
  • US Driver’s License- Preference for experience driving oversized vehicles
  • Reliable transportation to our Brookline location
  • One professional reference
