The Events & Exposition Sleep Expert is a sales role focused on delivering outstanding customer experiences at fairs, rodeos, trade shows, expositions, and other special events. This position combines product knowledge, sales expertise, and customer service skills to help attendees find the right sleep solutions while representing the brand with professionalism.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Maximize sales opportunities based on key performance indicators
  • Adheres to conference planning schedule, policies, and guidelines
  • Aid with event set-up and tear-down
  • Attend related conference calls with management
  • Minimize shrink through inventory management practices
  • Encourage turnovers to and from other partners working the event
  • Offer motivational support to other partners attending the sales event
  • Participate in training classes to stay updated on product and company programs
  • Maintain confidentiality of information
  • Represent the company in a professional manner
  • Complete all required training modules and certifications prior to the due date
  • Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed to ensure a safe work environment for all
  • Communicate professionally with all internal and external contacts
  • Follow all Company policies and execute Company standards on appearance and functionality as well as appropriate brand representation
  • Communicate any concerns or issues to leadership to ensure proper efficiency of department and company operations
  • Proactively engage with attendees in high-traffic, dynamic environments
  • Represent the company in a polished and professional manner at all times

Non-Essential Responsibilities

  • Execute company initiatives and other activities requested by supervisor
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
  • Contribute ideas on ways to optimize or improve the team, the department, and the Company
  • Participate in additional company initiatives or special projects as assigned

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1+ Years Retail Experience required
  • And 3+ Years Direct Sales Experience required

  • Encourages differences of opinion and takes steps to prevent counter-productive confrontations. Manages disagreements in a constructive manner
  • Skillful in compiling, organizing and using data to enhance planning and effectiveness

  • Skilled in initiating, structuring and carrying out steps to complete projects and tasks

Compensation

  • Competitive $15.76 per hour + * depending on qualifications and experience
