About the Role
As Events Director, you will lead the planning, production, and execution of large-scale, high-profile events and activations that align with brand and business objectives. You'll oversee the full event lifecycle-from concept and strategy through on-site delivery and post-event analysis-ensuring every detail reflects a premium, cohesive brand experience. Working closely with cross-functional teams and executive leadership, you'll translate strategic priorities into world-class events that deliver measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own the end-to-end events strategy, ensuring alignment with brand, marketing, and business objectives.
- Lead the planning, production, and on-site execution of large-scale, high-profile events and activations from concept through completion.
- Direct cross-functional teams and external partners, including agencies and vendors, to deliver seamless, on-brand event experiences.
- Create and manage detailed event project plans, timelines, budgets, and production schedules, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Oversee event creative direction, including themes, content, programming, and experiential elements that enhance audience engagement.
- Partner with marketing, sales, and leadership to define event goals, target audiences, and success metrics, and report on outcomes.
- Ensure all logistical aspects-including venues, contracts, staffing, technical production, and guest services-are executed to a premium standard.
- Identify and implement process improvements, tools, and best practices to scale and elevate the events function.
Key Requirements
- 8-10 years' experience planning and producing large-scale, high-profile events and activations.
- Proven track record delivering complex events in luxury, real estate, hospitality, or similarly premium environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong creative vision combined with rigorous operational discipline and meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience working closely with executive leadership and senior stakeholders, with confidence in presenting and influencing.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable operating at both strategic and tactical levels, from high-level concepting to hands-on execution.
- Flexibility to travel and work evenings/weekends as required by event schedules.
Desirable Skills
- Experience integrating events with broader marketing, brand, and customer experience strategies.
- Background in experiential marketing, brand activations, or VIP/client engagement programs.
- Familiarity with luxury audience expectations and high-touch service standards.
- Exposure to data-driven event optimization and post-event analytics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA or Master's in Marketing/Hospitality) preferred but not required.
- Professional certifications in event management (such as CMP, CSEP, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Ongoing professional development in events, experiential marketing, or related disciplines viewed favorably.
