Events Coordinator
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and execute a variety of company events.
- Develop event timelines, schedules, and checklists to ensure all logistics are executed smoothly.
- Cook up event goals with marketing and business objectives.

- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to align event goals with marketing and business objectives.
- Oversee event setup, on-site coordination, and post-event wrap-up, including evaluations and reports.
- Source, vet, and manage relationships with event related vendors.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure vendors meet quality and service standards.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with community partners, venues, and other key event partners.
- Manage the CRM system to ensure accurate tracking of event attendees, leads, and follow-up actions.
- Maintain and update event data, registration lists, and contact records.
- Analyze event performance metrics and prepare reports to inform marketing strategy and ROI assessments.
- Cook up all administrative aspects of event management, including budgeting, invoicing, and documentation.
- Prepare marketing materials and coordinate event communications in collaboration with the Communications and Engagement Manager and the Digital Marketing Specialist.
- Manage event calendars and assist with general marketing department tasks as needed.
- Organize and maintain inventory of marketing materials for events and office supplies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in event coordination, marketing, or a similar role.
- Strong organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service mindset.
- Experience working with CRM systems and data management tools.
- Ability to work occasional evenings for events.
- Detail-oriented, resourceful, and adaptable under pressure.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 annually. In addition, Great Waters offers employees a 401k plan with an employer matching schedule, Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, 10 paid company Holidays, an annual wellness stipend, and paid-time off. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus driven by organization and individual performance.
