About the role
Event Workers provide food and beverage service at catered events, including food preparation, setup, serving, and cleanup. They ensure areas remain clean, organized, stocked, and secure while delivering courteous customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide food and beverage service at catered events
- Ensure areas are clean, organized, stocked, and secure
- Deliver courteous customer service
- Operate cash registers, process payments, and handle money according to established procedures
- Perform routine equipment cleaning
- Report maintenance needs
- Serve as lead worker in the absence of the Concessions Supervisor
Requirements
- Experience handling money and dealing with the public
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Experience with alcohol sales and bar service is a plus
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
Skills
- Customer service skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to follow safety protocols
