About the Role

The role involves assisting with setup, check-in, and breakdown at community events and veteran gatherings, providing a supportive environment for veterans and their families.
Responsibilities
- Assist with event setup, including arranging chairs, tables, and other necessary equipment
- Check in attendees, ensuring all necessary documents are collected and maintained
- Break down event spaces, cleaning up materials and organizing storage areas
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and manage time effectively
- Positive attitude and willingness to engage with veterans and their families
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with veterans and their families is a plus
Skills
- People-oriented and empathetic
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
